3D Hex Badge
A hexagon in deep blue, for a label that has to feel solid.
These are made of real geometry rather than of a picture of it — extruded letters and solids with a material, a light rig and a camera, all of it editable. It is the one thing a stock clip cannot give you: a rendered file of a gold logo turning is somebody else's gold logo, and changing the metal or the word means having the scene.

How this one is built
3D Hex Badge is built from 2 text layers and 1 3D layer, using a shape extruded in magicBlue under midnight light and a shadow 20 pixels deep. Its colours are pale blue, near-black and white. Type is set in Inter.
The hex 3D scales up at 0.4s, the label rises into place at 1.1s, the note rises into place at 1.3s. The whole run is 6s at 60 frames a second.
It sits through the middle of the frame of a 16:9 composition, spanning about 21% of the width at 400×505 pixels.
What to do with it
- Make it yoursChange the words, the colours and the timing without breaking the animation that was built for the shape.
- Export it with transparencyWhich format your editor actually reads, and why a black rectangle behind your graphic means the wrong one was chosen.
- Change the metal and the lightMaterial, environment, depth, bevel and the three lights are all properties — which is what makes it your object rather than a video of somebody else's.
- What exporting costsOpening this template, changing it and watching it back are free. Getting the finished file out is $5 once for this project, or a plan if you make them often.
