What is CtaYou?
CtaYou is a YouTube animation maker that runs in your browser. Start with a professionally animated template or a blank canvas, then customize the design, timing and motion before exporting it into your video workflow.
The questions people ask before they start. Each answer stands on its own.

Yes. Templates are starting points. Change text, colors, graphics, layers, timing and animation to create reusable motion graphics that match your channel or brand.
Create animated subscribe buttons, lower thirds, channel bars, overlays, calls to action, sponsor graphics, intros, outros, logo animations and other custom motion graphics for your videos.
Yes. Import your own logos, images, illustrations and supported graphics, then combine them with text, shapes and animation inside the editor.
No. CtaYou is designed to create and customize motion graphics directly in the browser, including keyframe animation and transparency-oriented export workflows, without requiring After Effects.
Standard video for your editor, transparency-preserving formats for overlays, image sequences, and chroma backgrounds. The export dialog estimates the file size before you render, so there are no surprises.
No. The whole library can be browsed and played without signing in. An account is only needed once you take a template into the editor or download it.
Building is free. Exporting one finished graphic costs $5 as a single payment, which unlocks that project for good — any format, any size, as many exports as you need. The Creator plan is $15 a month or $150 a year and covers unlimited exports; Studio is $35 a month or $350 a year and adds priority in the render queue. The price shown is the price you pay — nothing is added at checkout.
Yes, and it is the whole editor rather than a trial. Every template, every editing tool, keyframes, sound, 3D, the AI copilot on your own provider key and channel import are free to use for as long as you like. Only taking the finished file out is paid.
Yes. ProRes 4444 in a .mov keeps a real alpha channel for desktop editors, WebM with VP9 alpha does the same for a web page, and a numbered PNG sequence keeps transparency per frame. No browser can encode transparent video on its own, which is why these are rendered for you.
After Effects, Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve and Final Cut Pro all read ProRes 4444 with its transparency intact — drop the file on a layer and the background is already gone, with no keying. CtaYou picks the format from the editor you name, and says why.
Yes, through a green screen rather than transparency. CapCut, Canva, Filmora and phone editors either cannot read alpha video or show it as black, so CtaYou exports an MP4 on a green ground for you to remove with that app's chroma key or background remover.
No. CtaYou runs in the browser, and so does exporting. There is an optional companion app, CtaYou Render, that renders on your own computer instead of in the cloud — measured at roughly eight times faster on a heavy 3D project — but nothing requires it.
Up to 60 seconds on the timeline, at 30 or 60 frames per second, and up to 7680×4320 pixels. Ready-made canvas sizes cover vertical 9:16 for Shorts and Reels, landscape 16:9 for YouTube, square, tall portrait, pin and 4K.
Yes. Import a PNG, an SVG, or a GLB or glTF model. A PNG is placed on a real 3D badge, an SVG is extruded from its outlines, and a model arrives as itself — then lit, given a material, and animated on the same timeline as everything else.
Yes. Paste your channel address and CtaYou fetches the name, handle, avatar and subscriber count and writes them into the template, matching how each one is written — a handle stays a handle and a full address stays a full address.
You do. The templates are starting points to build your own graphics from, and what you export is yours to use in your videos, including commercially.
