Overlay
Community Post
A poll drawn the way the community tab draws one, with the bars filling.
An overlay sits on top of footage to call something out — a note, a toast, a marker — and leaves again without a cut.

How this one is built
Community Post is built from 5 shapes and 3 text layers, using a shadow 60 pixels deep. Its colours are near-black, white and red. Type is set in Inter.
The bar, option 1 fill and option 1 label rise into place at 0.1s. The whole run is 6s at 60 frames a second.
It sits along the lower edge to the left of a 16:9 composition, spanning about 49% of the width at 940×300 pixels.
What to do with it
- Make it yoursChange the words, the colours and the timing without breaking the animation that was built for the shape.
- Export it with transparencyWhich format your editor actually reads, and why a black rectangle behind your graphic means the wrong one was chosen.
- Keep it clear of the edgesWhere an overlay can sit without colliding with the player, the end screen or a caption.
- YouTube Overlay MakerBuild an overlay from nothing, with the transparency decided by you rather than inherited.
- What exporting costsOpening this template, changing it and watching it back are free. Getting the finished file out is $5 once for this project, or a plan if you make them often.
