How this one is built
Comment Card 4K is built from 7 sparkles, 5 text layers, 3 images and 1 shape, using a shadow 120 pixels deep. Its colours are white, near-black, grey, deep blue and red. Type is set in Inter.
The card scales up at 0.1s, the avatar scales up at 0.4s, the handle and timestamp rise into place at 0.5s, the comment rises into place at 0.7s, and 4 further beats follow before the end. The whole run is 6s at 60 frames a second.
It sits through the middle of the frame of a 16:9 composition, spanning about 60% of the width at 2320×760 pixels.
What to do with it
- Make it yoursChange the words, the colours and the timing without breaking the animation that was built for the shape.
- Export it with transparencyWhich format your editor actually reads, and why a black rectangle behind your graphic means the wrong one was chosen.
- Keep it clear of the edgesWhere an overlay can sit without colliding with the player, the end screen or a caption.
- YouTube Overlay MakerBuild an overlay from nothing, with the transparency decided by you rather than inherited.
- What exporting costsOpening this template, changing it and watching it back are free. Getting the finished file out is $5 once for this project, or a plan if you make them often.
