Coming soon: Pro, three intros from your channel

· updated

This one is not in the product yet. Pro is what we are building next, and it has changed since we first wrote about it: it no longer starts from a sentence but from your channel — and it now has a price.

Paste your channel

Pro starts from your YouTube channel. Paste your @handle or the channel's address, choose whether the intro has sound, and set its length — Auto, or anything from 2 to 15 seconds. Three to eight is recommended, because a long intro costs watch time.

CY Ai, the director inside Pro, then reads the channel the way a designer would before a brief: the name, the logo, the banner, the colours measured from them, the thumbnails, stills from inside the newest videos, and the shows the channel already runs. Everything it makes is built from that, not from a template.

Pro's start on a phone: the heading Your intro, a field for @yourchannel or a youtube.com address, a sound pill and an intro-length slider set to Auto
Pro's start: your channel, sound or none, and the length.

Three intros, checked before they move

From what it read, CY Ai writes three concepts that differ in their idea rather than only in their colours, and builds each into a short film in real 3D, with the channel's own pictures in it rather than stock.

No intro is shown until it has been checked: each is drawn, looked at frame by frame and corrected in up to eight rounds, and nothing on it may date it — no week, no date, no subject from one video, because an intro plays before every video. The three are built at the same time, and you get a main intro and two alternatives.

Each comes in every format a channel posts to — YouTube in 16:9, Shorts, TikTok and Reels in 9:16, the feed in 4:5 — with and without sound, plus a transparent version for editors in ProRes 4444 and WebM. The name, the accent colour and the length can be changed afterwards, and Pro suggests intros for the channel's own series.

What it will cost

The price is $95 for three intros — 950 CtaYou credits, paid once, with no subscription. Two intros are $65 and one is $35, and the rest can be added later for the difference.

A new take with three new intros is $90, because the channel has already been read; three intros for one of the channel's shows are $90, and an intro directed again for Shorts, TikTok and Reels is $15. Edits, downloads and sharing cost nothing extra. The price is set from what real runs cost, with CY Ai at its most careful in every step.

For comparison, a designer typically charges $50–120 for one intro, and you wait several days for a single proposal. Pro is built to give you three in about 30 minutes.

When

There is no date yet. Pro will be switched on when it makes films we would publish ourselves, and it will be announced here when it is. Until then Autopilot, which makes three intros from your logo, is the way to have CtaYou build something for you.
