Wide Channel Banner

How this one is built

Wide Channel Banner is built from 9 sparkles, 5 images, 3 text layers and 2 shapes, using a red gradient and a shadow 64 pixels deep. Its colours are white, near-black, grey, red and pale amber. Type is set in Inter.

The banner slides in at 0.1s, the avatar scales up at 0.5s, the channel name slides in at 0.5s, the verified and subscribers slide in at 0.6s, and 7 further beats follow before the end. The whole run is 6s at 60 frames a second.

It sits through the middle of the frame of a 16:9 composition, spanning about 96% of the width at 1840×272 pixels.

What to do with it

• Make it yoursChange the words, the colours and the timing without breaking the animation that was built for the shape.
• Export it with transparencyWhich format your editor actually reads, and why a black rectangle behind your graphic means the wrong one was chosen.
• Keep it out of the controlsYouTube draws its progress bar and controls over the bottom of the picture. A bar pinned flush to the edge is the one that gets covered.
• What exporting costsOpening this template, changing it and watching it back are free. Getting the finished file out is $5 once for this project, or a plan if you make them often.
