Social Follow

How this one is built

Social Follow is built from 7 sparkles, 2 text layers, 1 shape and 1 image, using a 26-pixel backdrop blur behind frosted glass rimmed in white, a violet-to-blue gradient and a shadow 60 pixels deep. Its colours are near-black, white, violet, blue and pale amber. Type is set in Inter.

The card scales up at 0.1s, the avatar scales up at 0.2s, the headline rises into place at 0.3s, the action scales up at 0.6s, and 4 further beats follow before the end. The whole run is 6s at 60 frames a second.

It sits through the middle of the frame of a 16:9 composition, spanning about 55% of the width at 700×376 pixels.

What to do with it

• Make it yoursChange the words, the colours and the timing without breaking the animation that was built for the shape.
• Export it with transparencyWhich format your editor actually reads, and why a black rectangle behind your graphic means the wrong one was chosen.
• Place it where it readsA handle is only useful if it stays legible on a phone, which is where most of it is watched.
• What exporting costsOpening this template, changing it and watching it back are free. Getting the finished file out is $5 once for this project, or a plan if you make them often.
