Countdown Hook
Three things, counted down, with the number set large.
A Short is watched on a phone held upright, usually without sound, and decided in the first three seconds. These are built vertical, with type heavy enough to carry the point silently and everything kept clear of the title and buttons the platform draws over its own bottom quarter.

How this one is built
Countdown Hook is built from 7 text layers, using a shadow 26 pixels deep. Its colours are violet, near-black and white. Type is set in Inter.
The kicker rises into place at 0.1s, the number 1 scales up at 0.3s, the row 1 rises into place at 0.4s, the number 2 scales up at 0.5s, and 3 further beats follow before the end. The whole run is 6s at 60 frames a second.
It sits across the upper third of a vertical composition, spanning about 72% of the width at 774×779 pixels.
What to do with it
- Make it yoursChange the words, the colours and the timing without breaking the animation that was built for the shape.
- Export it with transparencyWhich format your editor actually reads, and why a black rectangle behind your graphic means the wrong one was chosen.
- Stay clear of the platform's own UIShorts draws the title, the channel and a column of buttons over its own frame. What is left is the column these are built for.
- What exporting costsOpening this template, changing it and watching it back are free. Getting the finished file out is $5 once for this project, or a plan if you make them often.
