SHOWCASE

Made by theCommunity.

Animations created and shared by CtaYou users. Hover a card to play it, then open any design in the editor to make it your own — you get your own copy, and the original stays as it was. Publish one yourself and it gets a page of its own, under the title you give it, credited to you and linked to your channel — that page is what a shared link opens.

About the showcase

The wall is where CtaYou users put finished work where other people can see it. Everything on it was built in the same editor and from the same library the rest of the site is made of, so what you are looking at is what you would get if you opened it — not a rendered video of somebody else’s project, but the project.

Opening one gives you a copy of your own. The layers, the timing, the colours and the text all arrive in your library as a new project, and you can change any of it without the original moving. That is the whole arrangement: publishing costs the maker nothing and gives everybody else a starting point that is further along than an empty canvas.

Publishing is worth something back. A published animation gets a page of its own at the title you choose, credited to the name you give and linked to your channel if you add one — and that page, rather than this list, is what a shared link opens.

Publishing and using what is here

Can I use somebody else’s design in my own videos?
Yes. That is what it is here for. You get your own copy, and what you do with it afterwards is yours — put your channel name on it, change the colours, export it.
Does the original change when I edit my copy?
No. What was published is a snapshot rather than a live link, and your copy is a separate project. The person who published it cannot see what you did to yours, and you cannot alter theirs.
Why is a layer empty in somebody’s animation?
Images uploaded to a project stay private to the account that uploaded them, so a published design built on an upload shows that layer empty to everybody else. The editor says so at the moment of publishing; replacing the upload with built-in artwork is what makes it travel.
Can I take mine down again?
At any time, from the same dialog you published it with. Removing it takes the page down with it; copies other people already made are theirs and stay where they are.
